Excursion to Hakone and Mount Fuji Viewpoint from Tokyo

Admiring Mount Fuji from the Hakone Ropeway is a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Join us on this unforgettable excursion from Tokyo and take in breathtaking views of Japan’s iconic peak.

Itinerary

At the scheduled time, we will meet next to the LOVE sculpture in Shinjuku. From this central location in Tokyo, we will board a bus and head toward the Fifth Station of Mount Fuji, arriving two hours later.

We will spend approximately 30 minutes taking in the extraordinary views of Mount Fuji before heading to Fujimatsu Tembodai Restaurant for a delicious lunch. The meal includes udon noodle soup, a seafood salad, lemon chicken steak, fried egg with sauce, and rice with burdock root, konnyaku, and nori seaweed.

After lunch, we will set sail on a pirate boat cruise across Lake Ashi—a spectacular 30-minute journey. After the boat ride, we will take the Hakone Ropeway, which connects Togendai Station (on the lake’s shore) to Owakudani in just 15 minutes. From the top, we will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the region!

Finally, we will board a bus and travel to Hakone-Yumoto or Odawara Station, where the excursion will end at 5:30 PM if you choose to stay there. If you have a Japan Rail Pass, you can use it to return to Tokyo or continue your journey to another destination.

If you choose to return to Tokyo, you can take the shinkansen (bullet train) back to Shinjuku Station, arriving in the capital approximately 10 hours after the tour begins.
