Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Kansai / Itami – Kyoto

Welcome & Transfer: Meet your Spanish-speaking guide at Kansai (KIX) or Itami Airport upon arrival. Private vehicle transfer to the hotel.

Check-in & Free Time: Hotel check-in begins at 3:00 PM. The rest of the day is free for personal activities. Early check-in requires an extra night booking.

Important Note: If your flight arrives before 08:00 or after 18:00, an additional surcharge will apply.

Day 2 – Discover Kyoto

Start: 08:00 AM – Meet in the lobby and start a full-day private tour with a Spanish-speaking guide.

Sightseeing: Visit Sanjusangendo Temple (*), Nijo Castle (*), Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion) (*), Tenryuji Garden (*), and walk through Arashiyama’s Bamboo Grove.

Lunch not included

Return: Around 5:30 PM – Back to the hotel.

Luggage Tip: Send your large suitcase to Hiroshima (JPY 3,000). Prepare an overnight bag.

• 08:56 – Visit Himeji Castle (*)

Continue to Kurashiki: Visit Ohashi Residence (*) and the Bikan Historical Quarter.

Start: 09:00 AM – Begin tour with your guide.

Visits: Kongobuji Temple (*), Danjo Garan (*), Okunoin Mausoleum.

Tour Conditions

Accommodation Style

  • Twin rooms (two single beds) are the standard configuration. Double (queen) beds are uncommon in Japan.
  • Triple rooms include an extra bed or sofa bed, which may be smaller than the standard beds.
  • Room type requests (smoking/non-smoking) are subject to hotel availability (Run of House).
  • In Koyasan, rooms at the Shukubo do not have private bathrooms. Meals are served on tatami floors.
  • At Koyasan and Kawayu Onsen, accommodation is in Japanese-style rooms with futons on tatami floors.
  • Important: Onsen facilities typically do not admit guests with tattoos. Small tattoos may be covered with a patch, but access is not guaranteed.

Special Notes

  • This tour is not recommended for travelers with reduced mobility. Many locations are not wheelchair accessible.
  • Dietary restrictions (vegetarian, celiac, allergies, etc.) must be communicated in advance but cannot be guaranteed.
  • Meals are half Japanese and half Western-style unless specified during confirmation.
  • In Koyasan, meals are Buddhist vegetarian. In Kawayu Onsen, meals are traditional Japanese.
  • Groups of 6+ travelers will have 10 lunches included instead of 3.

Transportation & Visits

  • All transfers and sightseeing are conducted in a private vehicle with a Spanish-speaking guide.
  • Entrance fees for monuments marked with (*) in the itinerary are included.
  • Reserved seats on JR Shinkansen and Limited Express trains (economy class).
  • First class upgrade on Shinkansen available for an additional JPY 16,000 net per person.

Luggage & Other Services

  • Luggage transfers are only included when using private vehicle services (e.g., airport to hotel).
  • Luggage delivery between cities (e.g., Kyoto–Hiroshima) is recommended and paid by the client (approx. JPY 3,000 per piece).
  • Hotel porters are not included.
  • Tolls, parking, taxes, and driver tips are included.
  • Beverages during meals and personal expenses are not included.
