Private Tour of Hiroshima
Discover with this private tour of Hiroshima, guided in Spanish, how the city survived the atomic bomb. An unforgettable journey to remember the horrors of the past!
Itinerary
We will depart from your hotel in Hiroshima at 10:00 AM. Our first stop will be the Peace Memorial Park. In this commemorative space, we will reflect on the impact that the nuclear attacks of 1945 had on this Japanese city.
To better understand how Japan experienced the end of World War II, we will visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. Through the exhibits in its various rooms, mostly dedicated to the victims of the war, we will step back to those fateful days in August 1945 when the nuclear bombings took place. These events marked a turning point in the course of the second half of the 20th century.
After free time for lunch, our next stop will be one of the most famous monuments in the city: Hiroshima Castle. Completely destroyed during the World War II bombings, it was fully rebuilt in 1958. Inside, we will learn about the legendary past of this ancient fortress.
From the castle, we will head to the nearby Shukkeien Gardens: a beautiful park in the traditional Japanese style. After taking the obligatory photos in this peaceful natural corner of Hiroshima, we will return to your hotel at 6:00 PM.
