Private Tour of Kōbe & Himeji
Would you like to visit one of Japan’s most beautiful castles? How about a guided tour of Kōbe? This tour combines both experiences, taking you to Himeji, Kōbe’s Chinatown, Sannomiya, and more!
Itinerary
At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel and head to Kōbe Station. From there, we will take a public train to Himeji, a journey of approximately one hour.
Upon arrival, we will stroll through Himeji’s shopping streets on our way to The White Heron. Despite its name, this is not a bird but rather Himeji Castle, the most iconic landmark in the city.
We will discuss the castle’s fascinating history and how it has remained intact throughout the centuries. After our visit, you will have approximately 1.5 hours of free time to enjoy lunch at your own pace.
Once we’ve recharged, we’ll take the train back to Kōbe. We will explore its harbor, admire the city’s famous 108-meter-tall red tower, and take in the futuristic architecture of Meriken Park.
Our tour will also take us to Nankin-machi, one of the few Chinatowns in Japan. As we wander through its vibrant streets, we’ll reach the Sannomiya district, a lively area filled with shops. Looking for souvenirs? This is the perfect place!
We will conclude the tour by returning to your hotel after approximately eight hours of exploration.
